A cardiothoracic surgery job in the Oklahoma City metro is open with an established and growing CT surgery program in central Oklahoma. Base salary runs $865,000 to $900,000, and with bonus and productivity on top of that, total earning potential approaches $2 million, more than double the base at the top end. The week runs roughly three OR days and two clinic days, clinic is held to 12-15 patients on a full day, and a dedicated CABG room comes with the position. New graduates are welcome, and fellows completing cardiothoracic surgery training are encouraged to apply.

Position, Compensation & Organization Highlights

• $2 million total earning potential: bonus and productivity stack on top of base salary, putting the ceiling at more than double the starting number
• $865,000-$900,000 base salary before any bonus or productivity is applied
• Room for the upside to be real: additional OR access opens up as surgical volume grows, and there is an opportunity to help expand the thoracic and lung nodule programs
• Flexible surgical week: approximately three OR days and two clinic days

• Hybrid OR and an established structural heart and TAVR program already running, not a build from zero

• Full surgical support: dedicated APP, RNFA, ICU APP, and perfusionist, with cardiovascular anesthesia covered by physician anesthesiologists only
• Long-tenured cardiovascular team in an established program with experienced staff
• 25 days of PTO plus 6 holidays and 5 CME days, with up to 20 additional PTO days earned on productivity
• $7,000 CME allowance plus up to $2,000 for dues and subscriptions
• Sign-on bonus, relocation, paid malpractice, and a full benefits package

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed residency and fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery
• Board-certified or board-eligible in the medical specialty listed
• Eligible for Oklahoma medical licensure
• New graduates welcome: residents and fellows completing training are encouraged to apply, with no minimum years of practice required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
